PIXELFONT
When you read a book, you only look at one page at a time. Pixelfont allows you to view the whole book—all of it, complete and unabridged—at a glance.
Each type of character in a text is mapped to a pixel with a certain colour. This way, very large texts fit in a small area, while the pixels remain large enough to be individually 'readable'.
Pixelfont also exposes underlying structures. The pixels form abstract patterns that are mostly random, but if you look closely you can often recognise structural characteristics of the text.
Each work includes a legend of the colour mapping used. Hooks to hang the work on the wall are attached to the back. Prices include VAT; shipping not included.

Custom Editions
We can also make a Custom Edition of your favourite text. Many decisions have to be made when a text is converted to Pixelfont. The shape of the work (square, rectangle, circle,...), the colour spectrum, the size of the work, the material it is printed on, the frame, and so on. When these choices match the context, the final work adds an enriching visual dimension to the original text. We will dive in, decide on the variables together, and create a unique work of art.
